Darrell L. Jackson

Darrell L. Jackson, age 50, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Aspirus Iron River Hospital. He was born on June 23, 1971, in L’Anse, MI, the son of the late Arvo and Elma “Maria” (Mattson) Jackson. He attended the L’Anse schools and graduated from L’Anse High School with the Class of 1990. He was previously employed as a sawyer. Darrell was a member of the Apostolic Lutheran Church in Watton, MI. He always enjoyed cooking a great meal, whether it was during the holidays or over the grill. He enjoyed the great outdoors, camping, spending time around a campfire, fishing, and hunting. Darrell is survived by his brothers, Dean Jackson of Iron River, MI and Daron Jackson of Caspian, MI; sisters, Joan (Herbert) Larson of Iron River, MI and Carol (Terry) Conrad of Bruce Crossing, MI; good buddy, Bill Greig; friend, Cindy Lopez; nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
