David V. Clements, age 69, of Iron River, MI, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 11, 2020. He was born on September 18, 1951 in Stambaugh, MI, the son of the Betty (McNett) Clements and the late Veril “Corky” Clements. He attended the Stambaugh Schools. David married Karen Anderson on May 8, 1971 in Iron River, MI. The couple celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary this year. He retired as foreman from the City of Iron River after 20 years and was also the owner of In the Pines Trucking. David was a member of the Iron County Pullers Association. He enjoyed hunting, leisurely drives, and spending time with family. David is survived by his wife, Karen; mother, Betty Clements; sister, Lynn “Dolly” (Howard) Hayden; sister-in-law, Nancy (Thomas) Werra; brother-in-law, Reinhold Anderson; aunt, Donna (Joe) Benz; uncle, Don (Anni) McNett; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Alan Clements; sister, Donna Burley; brothers-in-law, Harvey and Roger Anderson; and sister-in-law, Christina Jubert. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 9:30am to 11:00am in the basement of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Iron River. A memorial service will follow at 11am with Deacon Terry Verville to officiate. Please use the school parking lot entrance.
