David A. Dedo, age 73 of Caspian, MI, died Friday, February 6, 2009 at the VA Medical Center, Iron Mountain, MI. Born: December 23, 1935 in Caspian, MI The son of the late Stanley and Anna (Bray) Dedo attended the Iron River schools, graduating from Stambaugh High School in 1953. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. David married the former Dorothy Bell on June 28, 1958 in West Allis, WI and the couple made their home in Milwaukee prior to returning to Caspian in 1986. They celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 2008. He was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church of Caspian, the Disabled American Veterans, and the American Legion Reino Post 21 of Iron River (formerly Stambaugh). He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Stanley, Clarence, and Martin Dedo and three sisters, Caroline Ziewacz, Stella Dedo, and Alice Pomaski.
