David F. Les Monde

David F. Les Monde, age 78, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Aspirus Iron River Hospital. He was born on February 26, 1945, and grew up in Manitowoc, WI, the son of the late Gerald H. and Agnes (O’Malley) Les Monde. He attended Lincoln High School in Manitowoc, WI. He was an over-the-road truck driver and later delivered meals to the elderly. David loved nature, particularly fishing, and working in his garden. David is survived by niece Dana LesMonde (Peter Lynch) of Stoughton, WI; sister, Mary Rodewald of Manitowoc, WI; half-siblings, DuWayne (Dawn) Montag of Duluth, MN, Cheryl Montag of Marinette, WI, Rosemarie (Dan) Scipponi, Angelique Montag, and Jean Montag, all of Manitowoc, WI; nieces Kelly and Jana; and extended family and friends. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Gerald “Jerry” LesMonde, and sister-in-law, Sheila LesMonde. Private family services will be held.
