Debra L. Garrett

Debra L. Garrett, age 65, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born October 2, 1954 in Midland, MI, the daughter of Lee and Donna (Altman) Jenkins. She attended and graduated from West Iron County with the Class of 1974. Debra married Jeffrey Garrett on May 5, 1988 in Crystal Falls, MI. The couple made their home in Iron River and celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary this year. She was employed as a CNA for several years then becoming a stay at home mother. She enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows, knitting, crocheting, needle work crafts, working crossword puzzles, going to Beef-A-Roo every morning for coffee, and traveling. Debra is survived by her husband, Jeffrey; sons, Dennis Main of River Falls, WI and Shawn Garrett of Iron River, MI; daughters, Pamela (Fred Snyder III) Jenkins of Ishpeming, MI, Cynthia Main of Palm Harbor, FL, and Laura (Joseph) Barker of Caspian, MI; brother, Alan Jenkins of Bates Township, MI; sister, Becky (Dean) Bridge of Middleton, WI; four grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
