Diana K. Gurchinoff

Diana K. Gurchinoff, 76, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Aspirus Iron River Hospital. She was born on March 31, 1948, in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Esther Adeline (Hanmer) Autio. She attended school in California, graduating from El Monte High School with the class of 1966. Diana married James Gurchinoff on January 15, 1994, in Riverside, CA. They celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary in 2023. James preceded her in death on June 6, 2023. She was employed as a waitress prior to retirement. Diana was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church. She enjoyed interior decorating and painting. Diana is survived by her sons, Tony Brenes of Iron River, MI and Darryl (Carrie) Brenes of Green Bay, WI; daughter, Cheryl Brenes of Los Angeles, CA; stepson, Jeffrey (Brenda) Gurchinoff of Kingsford, MI; stepdaughter, Joyce (Michael) Sealanders of Sayner, WI; sisters, Susan Stover of Burbank, CA and Jeanne Nordstrom of California; six grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
