Diane Quayle

Diane Quayle Age 79 Iron River, MIDied Monday, March 21, 2011 at the Iron River Care Center, Iron River. Born: February 23, 1932 in Chippewa Falls, WI She was the daughter of the late Phillip and Joyce (Shattuck) Hanson. She attended and graduated from Kingsford High School. Diane married Thomas Quayle and the couple made their home in Iron River. Thomas preceded her in death in 1986. Diane was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church of Iron River, where she served as organist and choir director. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and the Carrie Jacobs Bond Quilters. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Kuhl. She is survived by her sons; Jim (Michele) Quayle of Iron River John (Missy Stanger) Quayle of Ann Arbor, MI Brother, Dale (Ann) Hulce of St. Louis, MO Two grandchildren; Megan and Robbie Visitation: Thursday, March 24, 2011 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Wesley United Methodist Church, Iron River. Memorial Service: Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. at the Wesley United Methodist Church, Iron River, with Rev Roberta Wilson to officiate. The family suggests memorial donations in Diane's name to the West Iron District Library. Funeral arrangements by the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River.
