Dianne M. Koeppe

Dianne M. Koeppe, age 74, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Aspirus Iron River Hospital. She was born on May 1, 1948, in Beloit, WI, the daughter of the late Russell and Mae (Daedler) Smith. She attended the Beloit Schools, graduating from Beloit Memorial High School with the class of 1966. Dianne married Larry Koeppe on November 9, 1968, at Beloit Methodist Church. They celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary in 2022. She was employed as a retail clerk prior to retirement. Dianne enjoyed crafting, traveling, and going to the casino. She loved the outdoors, the U.P., and Lake Superior and spending time with her family. Dianne is survived by her husband, Larry of Iron River; son, Brian Koeppe of Iron River, MI; brothers, Ken (Bonnie) Smith and Joseph Smith, both of Beloit, WI; sisters, Sylvia Demus of Beloit, WI and Judy Lockhart of Hollister, MO; nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle Koeppe; brother, Robert Smith; and in-laws, Gilbert and Betty Koeppe. Private family service will be held.
