Dolores A. Broslavick, age 94, of Iron River, MI passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at the Iron River Care Center. Dolores was born on November 9, 1925 in Caspian, MI, the daughter of the late Angelo and Mary (Erlicher) Zucal. Dolores attended the Caspian and Stambaugh Schools, graduating with the Class of 1943. Dolores married Casmir W. (Kyze) Broslavick on June 30, 1951 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Caspian. He preceded her in death on November 8, 1998. She was employed at the Stambaugh and West Iron County Schools in the follow through program. During this time, she earned 30 credits towards a degree in education. Dolores completed her working years as an assembler at Coleman Products until the closure of the plant. Dolores was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church and St. Anne’s Society. She volunteered with the funeral lunch committee and volunteered and taught catechism for many years. Dolores also volunteered at the Iron County Museum in the Gift Shop and with the Grandmas Reading Program at the West Iron District Library. She is survived by her son, Marvin (Debra) Broslavick of Appleton, WI and numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Beth (Josh) Madden and sisters, Evelyn (Jim) Mongiat and Jacqueline (Sam) Scervino. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Stambaugh Cemetery, Iron River with Father Gregory Veneklase to officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the West Iron District Library reading program, the Iron County Museum, or charity of choice in Dolores memory. The family expresses their gratitude to the caregivers of the Iron River Care Center, along with Dr. Han and Jill Nocerini, DNP.
