Donald W. Nordstrom Age 68 Iron River, MI Passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Marquette General Hospital. He was born May 20, 1944 in Beechwood, MI, the son of the late Walter F. and Irene (Monhead) Nordstrom. He attended the Iron River Schools. Donald married the former Sharon Williams on October 20, 1967 in Crystal Falls, MI, and the couple were lifelong residents of the Iron River area. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, logging and anything to do with the woods. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Sons, Donald (Keri) Nordstrom Jr. of Iron River Troy (Holly) Nordstrom of Iron River Daughters, Misty (Thomas) Remer of Gaastra Alicia DeForge of Marquette, MI Brothers, Floyd (Francis) Nordstrom of Beechwood Marshall (Margie) Nordstrom of Stambaugh James (Lori) Nordstrom of Beechwood Joe (Debera) Nordstrom of Beechwood Sisters, Margaret Salzieder of Stambaugh Joan (Robert) Maki of Stambaugh Shirley Lambert of Beechwood Karen Potter of Indiana Patsy Prepodnik of Iron River Grandchildren, Dana and Sarah Remer Paige and Leah Nordstrom Emilee DeForge Honorary granddaughters, Jill and Jessie Palmer He was also preceded in death byhis brothers, Lyle, Ralph, Marvin, Loren and Ronald, and grandson, Dylan DeForge. Visitation: Tuesday, October 16, 2012 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral Service: Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 3 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, with Pastor John Fish to officiate. Funeral arrangements were by the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River.
