Donald R. Rymkos

Donald R. Rymkos, age 68, of Iron River, MI, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015 at his home. He was born December 27, 1946 in Highland Park, MI, the son of the late George and Delores (Lein) Rymkos. He attended Wayne State University for his Master’s Degree in Social Services and was employed by the Department of Social Services for the State of Michigan for many years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Iron River, the American Legion Alfred Branchini Post #17, VFW Ottawa Post #3134, Disabled American Veterans Post #67, and was a Vietnam Veteran. He enjoyed advancing his education and feeding the birds. Donald is survived by his brothers, Jim (Margaret) Rymkos of Cocoa, FL, and Tom (Mary) Rymkos of Gladstone, MI, and sister, Sue (Dwaine) Verville of Iron River. Private family services will be held.
