Donna M. Lewis

Donna Lewis, 69, of Iron River, MI, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Northstar Health System of Iron River. She was born January 12, 1944 in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of the late John Patrick and Norma (Donnini) DeCloux. She attended the St. Agnes Catholic Schools, and graduated from Iron River High School with the Class of 1962. Donna married Ronald C. Lewis on June 30, 1962 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, and the couple made their home in Bates Township. They celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 2012. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church of Iron River. Donna enjoyed reading, Bible Study, making baskets and doing crafts. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel DeCloux. Donna is survived by her husband, Ronald; sons, Mark (Liz) of Kingsford, MI, Daniel (Lori) of Petoskey, MI, and Brian (Laurie) of Petoskey, MI, Andrew (Rose) of Iron River; daughter, Anna (Nick) Kegley of Iron River; sisters-in law, Patti DeCloux of Caspian, Barbara Lewis of South Carolina, and Marsha Lewis of Iron River; special uncle, John Kasprowski of Milwaukee, WI; fourteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church of Iron River, with Rev. Gregory Veneklase, Pastor, to offer the Mass of Christian Burial.
