Dorene M. Mcpherson

Dorene M. Gagnea McPherson, age 79, of Crystal Falls, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Iron County Medical Care Facility. She was born August 7, 1936 in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of the late Raymond G. and Aurelia (Brunell) Miller.  She enjoyed spending time at Sunset and Ottawa Lake, eating licorice and candy corn and going for walks. She liked dogs, cats, birds and horses and also enjoyed going to horse shows. She is survived by her sons, Robert (Collene) Gagnea of Green Bay, WI, and Rodney Gagnea of Iron River; daughters, Kathy (John McCumber) Gill of Mansfield Twp, Sharry (Gary) Bortolameolli of Iron River, and Tammy U’ren of Iron River; brother, Paul Miller of Massachusetts; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ray and Roger Miller. Visitation will be held Monday, March 28, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River.
