Doris J. Goldbach

Doris J. Goldbach, age 77, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2019 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born on March 30, 1942 in Wayne, MI, the daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Bishop) Dryer. She attended the Romulus Schools. Doris married Edward Goldbach on March 6, 1969 in Wayne, MI.  The couple made their home in Wayne, where Edward owned Wayne Sand and Gravel Co.  They moved to Iron River 1976 after retiring.  Doris and Edward celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary in 1990 before his passing on November 13, 1990. She raised her six sons and helped people clean their homes part time.  She enjoyed helping others in need, gardening, shopping, and playing Bingo. Doris is survived by her sons, John and Julian Grzonka of Iron River, MI, Edward and Theodore Grzonka of Nashville, TN, Louis Goldbach of Iron River, MI, and Raymond Goldbach of Grand Forks, ND; brother, Harry (Sandy) Dryer of Missouri; sisters, Jackie Hulce of Iron River, MI and Patty Robbe of Tennessee; one granddaughter, Emma Goldbach; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
