Douglas M. Sparks

Douglas M. Sparks, age 53, of Iron River, MI, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 7, 2019 in Norfolk, VA. He was born on December 21, 1965 in Albuquerque, NM, the son of the Tess Stowell.  He graduated from the Kemmerer, WY High School.     Douglas married Jana Parker on November 22, 2017 in Iron River, MI.  He was employed as journeyman lineman for 22 years.  He was a member of the Cornerstone Bible Church in Iron River.  He enjoyed horseback riding and fishing. Douglas is survived by his wife, Jana; daughter, Jennifer (Phil) Kraul of Kemmerer, WY; son, Ryan Sparks of Kemmerer, WY; siblings, Mike (Amy Gorden) Sparks of Salt Lake City, UT, Michele (Rod) Allen of Gardnerville, NV, Dawn (Kory) Parker of Lehi, NV, and Kimber (Jeff) Royter of Spokane, WA; six grandchildren; aunt, Nancy Griffin, who loved him as a son; Jana’s sons, Justin, Jordan, Jacob, Jared, Joel, and Josh Luckey; step grandchildren, Justin Jr, Noah, Merci, and Austin Luckey and Riley Tappa; mother-in-law, Jean Parker; extended family and friends.
