Dr. Curtis W. Steinberg

Curtis W. Steinberg, age 75 of Caspian, Michigan passed away Friday, July 21, 2017 at the Aspiris Iron River Hospital. He was born July 7, 1942 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of the late Gerhardt and Marian (Steinbrecher) Steinberg.  He graduated from Truman High School in Truman, Minnesota.  He then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa and graduated.  He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Curtis married Linda Cogdill, October 15, 2005 at the Wesley United Methodist Church, Iron River, Mi.  The couple made their home in Caspian, Mi. He was a private pilot and enjoyed flying, woodworking, fishing, playing pool.  He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Survived by His wife, Linda; daughter Heidi (Mike) Ross, Salem, Missiouri; son,  Chad (Faith) Steinberg, Rantoul, Illinois; step daughters, Donna (Greg) Stacey, New Boston, Michigan, Mary (Toby) Banks, Woodhaven, Michigan, Roberta (Butch) Morrow,  St. Charles, Missiouri, Susan (John) Sokolowski,  Oshkosh, Wisconsin, step Son, Charles Cogdill, Northfork, Virginia,  Brothers: Bruce (Patti) Steinberg, Ontonagon, Michigan, Forrest “Woody” Steinberg, Melvin, Illinois, Charles (Kay)  Steinberg, Rapid City, South Dakota; numerous grandchildren, three great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Iron River, Michigan. Memorial services will follow at 11:00 a.m.  with the Rev. Larry Steckling to officiate. Interment will in be Resthaven Cemetery, Iron River, Michigan. The West Side Veterans will accord Military Rites at the graveside.
