Edward H. Nash, age 85, Iron River, MI died Sunday, October 21, 2007 at the VA Medical Center, Iron Mountain, MI. Born: October 1, 1922 in Iron River. The son of the late Edward and Iva (Erdman) Nash attended the Iron River schools and graduated from Iron River High School. He was a U.S. Marine veteran, serving during WWII. He lived in Chicago where he owned and operated a dry cleaners until his retirement in 1986. After retirement he returned to Iron River to reside by his mother. He married the former Mary Anne Hanson Gannage on October 26, 1991 at the First Baptist Church in Iron River. The couple resided in Iron River. Edward enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the American Legion in Chicago. He is survived by his wife, Mary Anne Two stepsons, William (Michelle) Gannage of Dresser, WI Robert (Christine) Gannage of Los Osos, CA One stepdaughter, Jill (Rich) Paremba of Dearborn, MI Five step-grandchildren Three step-great grandchildren Visitation: Wednesday, October 24, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River. Memorial Service: Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at 12:00 noon at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River, with the Rev. Matthew Norlen, pastor of the Grace Covenant Church to officiate.
