Eileen M. Greenlund

Eileen M. Greenlund, age 88 of Iron Mountain, MI, died Friday, June 25, 2010 at the Golden Living Center, Florence, WI. Born: December 24, 1921 in Kenton, MI The daughter of the late Frank and Eva (Andree) Peterson attended the Kenton and Iron River Schools and then attended and graduated from the Detroit School of Commerce. Eileen married Oscar Greenlund on February 26, 1940 in Iron River and the couple celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary this year. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Eastern Star and volunteered at Amherst Hospital. She enjoyed hunting, knitting and crafts. She is survived by her husband, Oscar Sister, Lenore Borns of Florence, WI Nieces, nephews and extended family. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Vincent, Norman and Gervin Peterson and sister, Marjorie Martorelli. Visitation: Wednesday, June 30, 2010 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River. Funeral Service: Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River, with Rev. Dawn Treado Green to officiate.
