Elaine M. Nordstrom

Elaine M. Nordstrom, age 79, of Iron River, MI, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the U.P. Health System in Marquette. She was born January 28, 1938 in Highland Park, MI, the daughter of the late Louis and Betty (Provost) Kulik. Elaine married Marvin Nordstrom in June of 1964 at the Full Gospel Community Church. She was employed as a manager in the adult foster care field for 20 years. She enjoyed reading, yard work, being outside, sun tanning, her dogs, spending time with her grandchildren and traveling with her family. Elaine is survived by her daughters, Irene (Michael Schiavo) Brenes of Iron River and Michelle (Jason) Niemi of Ishpeming; grandchildren, Shannon DeRoche, Mark Willis, Tony Brenes, Darren Nordstrom, Nicole Marcell, Amanda and Jordan Davis; great grandchildren, Sierra Hooper, Aubrey Willis, Wyatt Nichols, Sienna Chevrette, and Brooklyn Davis; half-brother, Tom Kulik and half-sisters, Rosemary Anderson, Janie Antkowiak and Kathy Horn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; sons, Walter Nordstrom and Richard Kulik. Private Family Services will be held.
