Elizabeth A. Pomeroy

Elizabeth A. Pomeroy, 71, of Caspian, MI, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Aspirus Iron River Hospital.

She was born on January 24, 1955, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of the late Anthony and Grace (Kessler) Waraksa. She attended the Custer High School in Milwaukee and graduated.

Elizabeth married Steven Pomeroy on June 8, 2000, in Crystal Falls, MI. They celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary last year.

She was employed with the City of Milwaukee before retiring. Elizabeth enjoyed needlepoint, fishing, and hunting.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Steven; brother, John (Karen) Waraksa of Gulf Shores, AL; sisters, Marty (Tom) Janswig of Germantown, WI, Kathy Charter of Gaastra, MI, and Christine Polder of Menomonee Falls, WI; extended family and friends.

Private family services will be held.
