Elizabeth A. Roberts

Elizabeth “Tena” A. Roberts, age 91, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015 at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls, MI, where she resided for the past several years. She was born June 22, 1924 in Caspian, MI, the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Paroglio) Banche. She attended the Stambaugh Schools and graduated. Tena married Fred M. Roberts on June 13, 1959 in Detroit, MI. They celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary in 1975. Fred preceded her in death on September 20, 1975. She was a member of The Association of Miraculous Medal, St. Mary’s Seminary of Perryville, MO. She was an avid reader and enjoyed needlepoint. Tena is survived by her sister, Theresa (Joseph) Stanchina of Caspian, nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Albert Banche, and sisters, Anne Meyers, Jenn Ward, and Eleanor Reitmeyer.
