Ella Davies

Ella Davies, age 96, of Phelps, Wisconsin, passed away September 19, 2016 at the Golden Living Center in Randolph, Wisconsin. She was born June 13, 1920, the daughter of the late Henry and Eliza Beth (Hakala) Mustonen. She attended the Phelps High School, graduating in 1940. Ella married William J. Davies on April 19, 1944 in Carmel, California. She was a member of the Legion Auxillary of Phelps and was also a Lionette. Ella always wore a “ready” smile. She enjoyed music, dancing, gardening, and motorcycling with her husband. She also loved her farm animals. Ella is survived by her son, William Davies of Phelps, WI and her daughter, Bette (Mark) Graper of Columbus, WI; sisters-in-law, Marge Wykowsi of Three Lakes, WI, Joyce Davies of Iron River, MI; brother-in-law, Leslie DeMers of Land O’ Lakes, WI and other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William in January 2015; brothers, William, John and Henry; sisters, Ida, Anna, Siire and her infant sister, Sylvia. Visitation will be held at Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron River, MI on Friday, September 23, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Funeral services will follow at Jacobs Funeral Home at 11:00 am with Rev.
