Eloise P. Manfrom

Eloise P. Manfrom, age 90, of Iron River, MI, passed away Friday, March 13, 2015 at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls, MI. She was born December 17, 1924 in Mineral Hills, MI, the daughter of the late Aldrick and Eloise P. (Williams) Anderson. She attended the Iron River Schools. She was employed as a cook for over 45 years, retiring in 1999. Eloise married Lester Manfrom in September of 1963 and the couple made their home in Stambaugh. Lester preceded her in death. She was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church of Iron River. She enjoyed traveling and shopping. Eloise is survived by two step-sons, Roger Manfrom of Midland, MI, and Michael Manfrom of Iron River; sisters, Mary Jane (David) Scalcucci of Somerset, MI, and Carole Widas of Iron River; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Corrine K. Cox and Janice Victoria Westman; brother, Robert A. Anderson; sister-in-law, Mary Carne; brother-in-law, Frank Widas; great, great nephew, Cameron Lewis. Private family services will be held.
