Ernest Edwards, Jr.

Ernest Edwards, Jr., 61, of Iron River, MI, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. He was born on March 8, 1963, in Hayward, WI, the son of the late Ernest and Jeanette (George) Edwards, Sr. Ernest was a member of the U. P. River Church in Iron River. He enjoyed creating art, especially drawing, listening to music, and he loved animals, especially his cat. Ernest is survived by his brothers, Brian Edwards and Chad Smith, both of Iron River and Edmund and Eli Edwards, both of Watersmeet, MI; sisters, Johanna Edwards of Iron River and Toni (Edward) Williams of Watersmeet, MI; nephew, John Edwards; numerous extended family and friends. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Edwards and sisters, Lisa Pacala and Cheryl Edwards. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 10:00 am at Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River with Pastor James Pellizzer to officiate.
