Estelle C. Pangrazzi

Estelle C. Pangrazzi, age 80 of Caspian, MI died Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at the Iron County Community Hospital, Iron River, surrounded by her family. Born: February 26, 1928 in Gaastra, MI The daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Broslavick) Brunswick was a lifelong resident. She attended the Stambaugh schools and graduated with the class of 1946. She married Joseph Pangrazzi on June 12, 1948 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Gaastra, MI and the couple made their home in Caspian. They celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary in 1990. Estelle's life centered around her family. She was the epitome of motherhood always putting the needs of her children and family first. Estelle loved cooking, music, dancing, and playing the accordion. She was known for her fun loving personality and people enjoyed spending time with her. Estelle was an avid viewer and supporter of EWTN and its ministries. She also supported many other missionaries. She was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church of Caspian, St. Anne's Society, the Rosary Sodality, and Lady of Mount Carmel. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph on October 14, 1990; brothers, Dominick, Andrew, Chester, Walter and John; and sisters, Helen Jacques, and Mary Benzer. She is survived by her sons; Duane Pangrazzi of South Range, MI Daniel (Cathy) Pangrazzi of Caspian Daughter, Jeanne C. Pangrazzi of Caspian Brother, Frank (Norma) Brunswick of Iron River Sister, Caroline Applin of Iron River Three grandchildren Three great grandchildren Nieces and nephews Extended family member, Karen Renier of South Range, MI Visitation: Friday, February 20, 2009 from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River. Funeral Service: Friday, February 20, 2009 at 11 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Caspian with the Rev. Dan Zaloga to offer the Mass of Christian Burial. The Ladies of St. Anne's and the Rosary Sodality will form an Honor Guard at the Funeral Service.
