F. Ronald Cagle

F. Ronald ""Alley Cat"" Cagle, age 67, Caspian, MI died Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at the Iron County Community Hospital, Iron River, due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born: August 16, 1940, Caspian, MI The son of the late Jack and Agnes (Busakowski) Cagle, attended the Stambaugh Schools, graduating with the Class of 1958. After graduation he entered the U.S. Army, served in Germany, and was honorably discharged in 1961. Ron attended the Auto Body School in Marquette, MI and owned and operated Ron's Body Shop in Caspian for 12 years. In 1991 and 1992, he worked for numerous gas companies in upstate New York and then in Buffalo, NY. In 1995, he moved back to Iron River and was employed by the Willbros Engineering Company out of Tulsa, OK. In 1998 he was employed as a surveyor for L. W. Survey Company until his retirement in 2000. Ron was a member of the St. Cecilia Catholic Church, member of AA and volunteered at the prison once a month. He enjoyed riding his Harley Heritage Soft Tail and lived life to the fullest. He was preceded in death by sisters, Gloria and Peggie and half brother, Wally. He is survived by his brother, Forest ""Jack"" Cagle of Black River Falls, WI Sisters, Helen Ferrell of Mesa, AZ Marilyn (Edward) Popple of Bloomer, WI Special nephew, Glen (Lorie) Cagle of Iron Mountain Numerous nieces and nephews Visitation: Friday, June 27, 2008 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River. Funeral Service: Friday, June 27, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church of Iron River with Rev Norman Clisch, pastor, to offer the Mass of Christian Burial.
