Florence M. Paschelke, age 94, of Lake Geneva, WI, formerly of Iron River, MI, passed away Monday, March 23, 2015 at her home. She was born March 3, 1921 in Bates, MI, the daughter of the late Frank and Emma (Berg) Peterson. She attended the Rogers School and graduated from Iron River High School. Following graduation, she attended Metropolitan Business College. Florence married Clarence P. Paschelke on June 28, 1947, and the couple made their home in Chicago, IL, where she was employed as a cost clerk by Continental Can Company. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Iron River. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, and visiting with family. Florence is survived by her daughter, Candace (Philip) Coffey of Lake Geneva, WI; grandchildren, Kenneth (Robyn) McEvilla, Charlotte (Richard) Morrow, and John McEvilla; six great grandchildren Jessica McEvilla, Brett, Brian and Molly Morrow, Cole and Reese McEvilla ; two great, great grandchildren Kayden and Millie; two step grandchildren Tammy (Mark) Sowle, Glen (Irene) Coffey; seven step great grandchildren, Cody Coffey, Ariel Sowle, Caitlan, Haley and Teagan Coffey, Aimee and Dean; one step great, great granddaughter Scarlett Rose; Robert McEvilla and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death after 51 years of marriage by her husband Clarence in 1998, brother, Leonard (Cordelia) Peterson, and sisters, Evelyn (Clarence) Mitchell, Viola Peterson, Elsie (David) Clemons, Lillian Premo, and Margaret (Martin) Javoroski. Visitation will be held Monday, March 30, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River, MI. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Michael Laakko to officiate. Interment will be in Iron River City Cemetery.
