Frances C. Otto

Frances C. Otto, 94, died Friday, Sept. 7, 2012 at Northstar Health System. She was born Jan. 29, 1918, in Iron River, the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes (Gendzwill) Kapusta.""She married Ervin Otto on December 24, 1946 and he preceded her in death Aug. 15, 2006.""She was also preceded in death by six brothers, Joseph, Edmund, Zigmund, Thomas, Edward and an infant brother, Walter; and four sisters, Helen Beaber, Minnette Kapusta, Cecilia Richer and Elinore Konoske. She is survived by two sons, Dennis Otto (Char Laduron) and John (Karen) Otto, both of Iron River; four grandchildren, Wendy (Mark) Shimun of Iron River, Shawn (Melissa) Otto of Carlsbad, NM, Jessica Otto of Kingsford, and Summer Otto of Green Bay, WI; four great-grandchildren, Cassidy Otto-Dove and Carli, Cruz and Gavin Otto; and a sister, Maggie Selmo of Caspian. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012 from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept.11 at 11a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church of Iron River with the Rev. Michael Ocran to offer the Mass of Christian Burial.
