Frank A. Brunswick

Frank Brunswick passed away peacefully on March 26, 2017at the Iron County Medical Facility in Crystal Falls. He was 95. Frank was married to Norma (Bellantonio-Tarnowski) Brunswick for 28 happy years. They did everything together from grocery shopping to vacations. She was by his side when he passed away. Frank was preceded in death by his first wife Rose (Marcantonio-Turcotte) Brunswick, who was taken by Cancer in 1986. Frank raised two sons, Michael Brunswick (Phyllis) of Shoreview, MN and Ralph Turcotte (deceased) of Saukville, WI. Frank also has a step son, Vincent Tarnowski of Iron River. Frank was a good father who was loved dearly by family and friends. He lived a stellar life as a proud veteran of WWII, member of VFW Ottawa Post 3134, and a strong member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Iron River. Born of Michael and Anna (Broslavick) Broncyzk, Frank was the last living member of his eight siblings, Domenic, Chester, Andrew, Helen (Jacques), Mary (Benzer), Walter, Estelle (Pangrazzi) and Caroline (Piette-Applin). He has 5 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, a number of great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 30th from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. A Funeral Mass will follow at11:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Iron River with Rev. Gregory Veneklase to officiate. The West Side Veterans will accord Military Rites at the service.
