Frank R. Olson

Frank R. Olson, age 18, of Iron River, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 2, 2016. He was born August 6, 1998, the son of Frank N. Olson and Bobbie Jo Mousseau.   He attended the West Iron County Schools. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, football (#70) and working on vehicles. He was a “Jack of all trades”, loved living life, spending time with family and spending time up at camp. He lived life wide-open. Braaap! Frank is survived by his parents, Frank Olson and Bobbie Jo Souder; brother, Christopher (Rachol); sister, Giovanna Olson; paternal grandparents, Dick and Donna Tryan, maternal grandparents, Connie and Bart Sunn, and maternal great grandmother, Janet Prevo; maternal uncles, James Mousseau and Anthony Mousseau; maternal aunt, Sandra Martin; paternal aunts, Stacy Olson, and Jenny (Thad) Sartorelli; paternal uncle, Pat Olson; many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. He is also survived by his maternal great uncle, Richard (Tammy) Prevo; maternal great aunts, Linda Prevo, Patty (Jeff) Visser; paternal great uncles, Pat Reitmeyer, Louis Reitmeyer; and paternal great aunts, Lois Doers, JoAnn Brabank. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Allan Olson; maternal great grandfather, Richard Prevo, and paternal great grandparents, Louis and Giovanna Reitmeyer.   Visitation will be held Friday, October 7, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron River. Funeral services will follow at 12:30 p.m. with Father Gregory Veneklase to officiate.
