Gail A. Lappala

Gail A. Lappala, age 70 of Iron River, MI, died Saturday, July 18, 2009 at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls, MI. Born: February 2, 1939 in Iron River The daughter of the late Donald and Leola (Paiter) Lappala was a lifelong resident of the area. She attended the Stambaugh schools and graduated from the Stambaugh High School in 1957. She then attended the Northern School of Banking. Gail was first employed at the Iron River National Bank and continued with MFC and Retired from Wells Fargo Bank in 2002 after 40 years in banking. She enjoyed her luncheons and outings with her friends. She was also preceded in death by her sister Faye Lappala and an infant sister. She is survived by her step-mother, Gail Lappala, aunt, Nell Paiter, extended family and friends. Private graveside services will be held at Resthaven Cemetery, Iron River.
