Gary R. Moore

Gary R. Moore, age 58, of Iron River, MI, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 5, 2018 in Iron River, MI.  He was born on August 3, 1959 in Long Beach, CA; the son of the late Walter and Sharon (Saylor) Moore. He attended the West Iron County Schools, and was a United States Army Veteran. He was employed as a construction laborer for 25 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Gary is survived by his daughter, Rebecca LaFrances; grandchildren, Ashlynn and Haydon; brother, Walter Moore, Jr. of Iron River, MI; sisters, Victoria (Dennis) Powell of Iron River, MI and Mary Bult of Bonita Springs, FL; niece, Christina (Jimmy) Victorovich; nephews, Adam, Daniel and Benjamin Moore; and three great nephews.      In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Kurt Moore. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dawn Robbins to officiate.
