Genevieve K. Signorin

Genevieve K. Signorin, age 86, of Racine, WI, passed away Friday, August 15, 2014. She was born March 14, 1928 in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of the late John and Pauline (Servia) Bilski. She attended the Stambaugh Schools, graduating with the Class of 1946. Genevieve married Domenic Signorin on May 5, 1951 at St Cecilia Catholic Church of Caspian, and the couple celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary in 2006. Domenic preceded her in death in April 2007. She was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church of Caspian, and St. Ann’s Society. She was an Associate at J.C. Penny’s for many years, and enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She was an outstanding cook and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Genevieve is survived by her son, Gene (Vicki) Signorin of Franksville, WI, and their children, Luci (Dan ) Schuler (and family, Ella and Alexandra), Craig Signorin, and Angela (Dan) Kruse; son, Robert (Sarah) Signorin of Oak Hurst, TX, and their children, Travis and Cody; daughter, Carol (John) Pucely of Racine , WI, and their children Kyle, Randi, and Zach; daughter, Tina (Kevin) Flynn of Racine, WI, and their children Lindsey and Lauren; brother, John (Mary Ann) Bilski of Bartlett, IL; sisters, Mildred Anderson of Gaastra, and Delores Jurecic of Caspian; brother-in-law, James (Judy) Signorin of Gaastra; sisters-in-law, Klaryce Bilski of Gaastra, and Terese (Ted) Bilski of Detroit, MI; nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was also preceded in death by her brother, George Bilski. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 21, 2014 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, with Rev. Gregory Veneklase to offer the Mass of Christian Burial. The ladies of St. Ann’s Society will form an Honor Guard at the service. Interment will be in Stambaugh Cemetery. The family suggests memorial donations in Genevieve’s name to St. Ann’s Society.
