Gentile A. Frighetto

Mrs. Gentile Agnes Frighetto, age 94, Caspian, MI, died Thursday, July 19, 2007 at the Iron River Care Center, Iron River, MI. Born: July 19, 1913, Loretto, MI The daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (Belletti) Donnini moved to Iron River as a small child and attended the Iron River Schools. On February 16, 1935, she married Louis ""Bimbo"" Frighetto at the St. Agnes Catholic Church in Iron River and the couple made their home in Caspian. He preceded her in death in 1979. She was a member of the St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Caspian, St. Anne's Society, the Daughters of Isabella, and the Italian Ladies Society. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Gerald Keith; one brother, Ersilio (Mike) Donnini; and three sisters, Sistelia Giovanelli, Olga Frueh and Norma DeCloux. She is survived by two sons, Richard (Janet) Frighetto of Crystal Falls Twp., MI Joseph Frighetto of Chicago, IL Three daughters, Denice (Dennis) Steffen of Niles, IL Carole (Jack) Stewart of Chicago, IL Susan (Ken) MacDonald of Mt. Pleasant, MI Nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren Nieces and nephews Visitation: Sunday, July 22, 2007 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Monday, July 23, 2007 from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. at Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River, MI. Funeral Service: Monday, July 23, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Caspian, with the Rev. Norman Clisch, Pastor, and the Rev. Otto Sartorelli to concelebrate the Mass of Christian Burial. The ladies of St. Anne's Society, the Daughters of Isabella, and the Italian Ladies Society will form an honor guard at the Funeral.
