Gerald G. Broswavic

Gerald G. Broswavic, age 76, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021, at the Iron River Care Center. He was born on September 3, 1944, in Stambaugh, MI, the son of the late Chester and Nancy (Rucinski) Broswavic. Gerald attended the Crystal Falls Schools, graduating from Crystal Falls High School in 1962. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, serving at Camp Pendleton in California. Gerald married Marcia Swenski on October 23, 1976, in Milwaukee, WI. The couple celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary in 2020. He was employed in quality control for Briggs and Stratton. Gerald was passionate about playing pool and was very good. He won the city-wide championship in Hartford, WI two years in a row. And Gerald was always willing to help others improve their game. He was very energetic and enjoyed landscaping with large boulders at his home. Gerald is survived by his wife, Marcia; sons, Jesse Broswavic of Iron River, MI, Nathan (Stacy) Broswavic of Milwaukee, WI, and Gerad (Teri) Broswavic of Slinger, WI; daughter, Shawndel Broswavic of Hartford, WI; brother, Jim LaBombarb of Green Bay, WI; sister, Jane Romans; of Campbellsport, WI; three grandchildren, Payton, Easton, and Keller; nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
