Gerald D. Goodlink

Gerald D. Goodlink, age 62, of Iron River, MI, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at his home.  He was born on August 22, 1956 in Garden City, MI, the son of the late Robert and Lillie (Bartram) Goodlink.  He attended and graduated from the Garden City Schools.  Gerald was a graduate of School Craft College with a degree in Culinary Arts.  Gerald married Gloria Horton on November 4, 1978 in Romulus, MI.  The couple celebrated their 40th anniversary this past November.  After retiring, they moved to Iron River.    He was employed as chef for 20 years.  An avid outdoorsman, Gerald enjoyed hunting, fishing, and just being outdoors.  He also loved to cook.   Gerald is survived by his wife, Gloria; son, Paul Goodlink of Iron River; brother, James (Cathy) Goodlink of Norwalk, CA and their family; brothers-in-law, Greg (Mary Pat) Horton and Glenn Horton and their families; sisters-in-law, Gwen Horton and Ginger (Mark) Kucharczyk and their families; extended family and friends. Private family services will be held.
