Geraldine A. Miller, age 80, of Caspian, MI, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. She was born February 19, 1937 in Steven’s Point, WI, the daughter of the late Stanley and Pearl (Wlodarski) Kolter. She attended the Milwaukee Bay View High School, graduating with the Class of 1955. Geraldine married Howard Miller on June 25, 1960 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and the couple celebrated 57 wonderful years together this summer. She was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church of Caspian and enjoyed reading, gardening, being outdoors and animals. Most importantly, she valued the quality time she was able spend with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also gave freely of her time to babysit her great grandkids. Geraldine is survived by her husband, Howard; son, Robert Miller, both of Caspian, MI; daughters, Marianne (Steve) Raymond of Iron River, MI, Donna Rosseau and Anne Miller, both of Caspian, MI; grandchildren, Jessica and Christopher Miller, Julie (Andy) Reddinger, Jenny (Troy) Sparapani, Katie (Frank) Houle, Kyle (Jessica) Rosseau and Nick Rosseau; great grandchildren, Dominic and Makayla Sparapani, Aaron and Carolyn Rosseau and Frank Houle, Jr.; brother, Eugene Kolter of Milwaukee, WI; sister, Marlene (Jim) Gunnarson of Milwaukee, WI; as well as extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two infant daughters, Debbie and Valerie; and brothers, Clifford and Stanley Kolter. As per Geraldine’s wishes, private family services will be held. Interment will be in Stambaugh Cemetery.
