Gloras J. White

Gloras J. White, age 92, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at the Iron River Care Center. She was born on May 23, 1928 in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Martha J. (Tremayne) White. Gloras attended the Iron River Schools, graduating with the Class of 1945. She was a self-employed cleaning woman most of her life. Gloras also worked at Bult’s Quality Bakery then Ron’s Home Style Bakery in Iron River. She was a member of the Wesley Methodist Church in Iron River, until its closing in June of 2015. She enjoyed making greeting cards, sewing, and painting pictures. Gloras is survived by her dear friend, Kathy Amerson of Iron River, MI; nephew, William “Bill” White of Mesa, AZ; and extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth White. Private services will be held. Interment will be in Iron River City Cemetery.
