Gregory T. Helms

Gregory T. Helms, age 58 of Hinsdale, IL, died Saturday, February 7, 2009 at his cabin at Long Lake , WI. Born: August 1, 1950 in Hinsdale, IL The son of Charles M. and Jaquelin (Holm) Helms attended the Hinsdale schools, graduating in 1968. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and later attended Northern Illinois University, graduating in 1977 with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics. Gregory married the former Brenda Porter on August 18, 1979 in Glen Ellyn, IL and the couple made their home in Hinsdale. They celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary in 2008. He was employed as a Senior IT Risk Analyst for the Federal Reserve of Chicago, IL. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and being in the north woods at his cabin. He also loved antique trucks.
