Gregory ""Greg"" R. Schuth, 65, Iron River, MI, passed away Tuesday, March 26 in Las Vegas, NV. He was born November 15, 1947 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Raymond and Rose (Masciola) Schuth. He graduated from Conant High School in Hoffman Estates, IL. He was a Veteran of the US Coast Guard. Greg married the former Marie Brodil on February 15, 1969, in New York City, NY. The couple lived in Hoffman Estates, IL for 10 years before moving to Michigan. They made their home in Bates Township where Greg owned and operated Greg 's Autobody for over 30 years. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church of Iron River and enjoyed car restoration, fishing, golfing, snowmobiling and cooking. Greg is survived by his wife, Marie; son, Raymond (Getiana) Schuth of Henderson, NV; daughter Carolyn (Brian) Eisele of Neenah, WI; five grandchildren, Claire and Mia Eisele and Liliana, Tessa, and Alexander Schuth. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 6, 2013 from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church of Iron River, with Rev. Gregory Veneklase, Pastor, to offer the Mass of Christian Burial. The family suggests memorial donations to the Northwoods Animal Shelter. Interment will be in Bates Township Cemetery, Iron River in the spring.
