Henry O. Krans Age 91 Iron River, MIDied Monday, November 1, 2010 at his home.Born: September 23,1919 in Iron River, MIThe son of the late Arvid and Selma (Messing) Krans attended the Iron River schools, and graduated. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII serving in the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater. He was employed as a salesman for B.F. Goodrich for over 23 years, retiring in 1984.Henry married the former Mildred Jean on March 17, 1942 in Houston, Texas and the couple made their home in Iron River. They celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1992. Mildred preceded him in death in 1996.Henry was a life member of the Iron River Elks Lodge #1671 and served as trustee for many years. He served on the Iron River Housing Commission Board and was a life member of Golden K , serving as secretary and treasurer. He enjoyed woodworking. He was also preceded in death by his daughter Patricia Falk, brother Roland Krans, and sister Dorothy Molle.He is survived by two daughters; Jean (Dennis) Baker of Holton, WIFrances (Mark) Westphal of Andover, MNSon-in-law, Bill Falk of Norway, MISister Muriel (John) Halick of Green Bill, MIFive grandchildren and seven great grandchildrenMemorial Services will be held Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River, with Rev.
