Illmie M. Skinner

Illmie M. Skinner, age 99 of Iron River, MI, died Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Northstar Health System, Iron River. Born: March 30, 1911 in Sparta, MN The daughter of the late William and Mary (Walkonen) Aho attended high school in Virginia, MN and graduated. She was employed as a seamstress, retiring from Hirsch Clothing in 1960. Illmie married Edward Skinner and he preceded her in death in 1977. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Iron River. Illmie enjoyed fishing, playing cards, sewing, and especially spending time with family and friends. She was also preceded in death by three sisters and one grandson. She is survived by her sons; Conrad Skinner of Iron River Edward (Aurelia) Skinner of Wood Dale.
