Jack G. Petroff

Jack G. Petroff, age 90, of Lawrenceville, GA, formerly of Iron River, MI passed away June 2, 2015. He was born March 28, 1925 in Hibbing, MN, the son of the late Michael and Sophie (Yuzna) Petroff. He attended the Stambaugh, MI Schools, and was a U.S Army Veteran of WWII, receiving three overseas service bars. Jack married the former Beverly Potter, and the couple made their home in Stambaugh Township. Beverly preceded him in death on February 19, 2003. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jack is survived by his son, John (Dorothy) Petroff of Atlanta, GA; daughters, Cheryl Moody of Atlanta, GA, Melody Arnold of Atlanta GA, and Candace (Tim) Egan of Livingston, MT; 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Daniel and Anthony Petroff, and sisters, Helen Hermanek, Dolly Petroff, Margaret Schiavo, Judy Jones, and Sharon Pufhal.
