Jacqueline M. Mianecki, age 89, of Iron River, MI, passed away Thursday, November 02, 2017 at her home. She was born on December 20, 1927 in Racine, WI, the daughter of the late Jack and Margaret Mary (Rink) Kanyuh. She attended and graduated from the Horlick High School, with the Class of 1945. She was employed as a machinist at Interlake Steel Manufacturing, and later, she was the owner/operator of Bow Wow Boutique Pet Shop in Stambaugh for 13 years. She enjoyed building, remodeling, hunting, fishing and going to rummage sales. Jacqueline was always very gracious and giving to those in her community. She also had her private pilot license. Jacqueline is survived by her sons, Lance (Gloria) Luckey of Iron River, MI, Marvin (Annette) Mianecki of Waterford, WI, and Joey Fosbinder of Conrath, WI; daughters, Chicky Schiapo of Rhode Island, Kris Luckey of Crystal Falls, MI (significant other: David Lui of Las Vegas, NV), and Thea (David Ross) Mianecki of Arbor Vitae, WI; 16 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; one nephew, John Leighton, as well as extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Dalton Luckey; second husband, Lawrence T. Mianecki; sons, J.D. Luckey and Blaise Mianecki; sister, Candy Leighton and lifelong friend, Mary Curto. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River.
