James L. Blood

James L. Blood, age 80, of Caspian, MI, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay, WI. He was born on October 1, 1941, in Detroit, MI, the son of the late Lawrence and Mary (Barinotti) Blood. Jim attended the Stambaugh Schools, graduating from Stambaugh High School with the Class of 1959. Jim married Kathy McCarthy on June 13, 1964, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Caspian. The couple made their home in Caspian and celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary this year. He was employed as a supervisor for Payne and Dolan Construction for many years. Jim enjoyed hunting and golfing and was a very good handyman. Jim is survived by his wife, Kathy; son, Michael (Kelly) Blood of Brighton, MI; daughter, Kelly Blood of De Pere, WI; grandson, Connor Blood; brother, Jerry (Jean) Blood of Iron River, MI; extended family and friends.
