James H. Lind

James H. Lind, age 54, Iron River, MI died Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at the Iron County Community Hospital, Iron River. Born: February 26, 1953 in Ann Arbor, MI. The son of William Emil and Helen (Sloan) Lind attended the Waukesha schools, graduating from Waukesha South High School. After high school, he started his employment with General Motors in Janesville, WI where he worked for 30 years, retiring in 2003. James married Cheryl Carlson Rook on May 10, 2000 and the couple made their home in Ft Atkinson, WI moving to Brule Lake in 2003 after his retirement to reside near his parents. He was preceded in death by his father, William. He is survived by his wife Cheryl His mother, Helen Lind of Iron River One daughter, Shalon (Joel) Kohl of Ft. Atkinson, WI One step-son, Stephen Rook of Beloit One step-daughter, Janice (T.J.) Porter of Beloit Five grandchildren; Abbey, Elly, Lucas, Zoy, and T.J. One brother, William (Linda) Lind Jr., of Mukwonago, WI One sister, Susan (Michael) Finley of Waukesha, WI His father-in-law, Kenneth Carlson of Beloit Nieces and nephews Visitation: Thursday, December 20, 2007 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River, and Saturday, December 22, 2007 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Second Congregational Church, Beloit, WI. Funeral Services: Saturday, December 22, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Second Congregational Church, Beloit, WI with Rev Douglas Gray and brother-in-law, Deacon Michael Finley to officiate.
