James R. Parker

James R. Parker, 63, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

He was born on September 18, 1962, in Racine, WI, the son of the late Dolph and Lorraine (Carlsen) Parker. He attended West Iron County Schools, graduating with the Class of 1980.

He was employed as a glassmaker. James enjoyed fishing, watching tv, and spending time with his family.

James is survived by his sisters, Judith (Bob) Patterson of Kenosha, WI, Kathy Parker of Iron River, MI. and Linda (Mark) Benoit of Iron Mountain, MI, and nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Thomas Parker and Dolph Daniel Parker.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. with Pastor Rocky Farley to officiate.

Interment will be in Bates Township Cemetery, Iron River.
