Jane S. Lamp

Jane S. Lamp, age 52, Iron River, MI died Thursday, February 28, 2008 at the Iron County Community Hospital, Iron River. Born March 15, 1955 in Iron River The daughter of Burley Merrel and Marge (Barnum) Tackmier attended the West Iron County Schools, graduating in 1974. Jane was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church of Iron River and a volunteer of Special Olympics. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed bird watching, running her dog ""Duchess"", meeting her friends for coffee, and helping others. She was preceded in death by her father and brother Tod. She is survived by her special companion, Keith Stockton Daughter, Heidi Lamp (Mark Warda) of Marquette, MI Son, Joshua Luke Lamp of Iron River Mother, Marge Tackmier of Iron River Brother, Bill (JoAnn) Tackmier of Iron River Nieces; Lisa (Brian) Hoch Bridget (Roger) Vest Justine Tackmier Many cousins Visitation: Monday, March 3, 2008 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at the Wesley United Methodist Church, Iron River. Memorial Service: Monday, March 3, 2008 at 5:30 p.m. at the Wesley United Methodist Church, Iron River, with Rev. Mark Ryan to officiate. Interment: Iron River City Cemetery, Iron River.
