Janet Ball

Janet E. Ball, age 61 of Caspian, MI, died Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Sylvia's Hospice House, Ocala, FL. Born: June 26, 1948 in Crystal Falls, MI The daughter of the late Gustave and Rose (Montambo) Swanson attended and graduated from Park Ridge High School in Illinois. She worked as an E.M.T. for many years. Janet married David Meyers and he preceded her in death on June 25, 1996. She later married Russell R. Ball on June 25, 1998 and the couple made their home in Caspian and spent their winters in Florida. Janet was a former member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and then St. Cecilia Catholic Church of Caspian. She enjoyed cooking, going out on the pontoon, and camping with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Russell Son, David Meyers of Caspian Daughter, Rose (Andrew) Lewis of Iron River Step-daughter, Cheryl (Art) Rautio of Michigamme, MI Three grandchildren; Trenton Meyers, Mariah and Noah Lewis Visitation: Friday, February 19, 2010 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River. Funeral Service: Friday, February 19, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River, with Rev. Norman Clisch to officiate.
