Janet J. Tilkens

Janet J. Tilkens, 78, of White Lake, WI passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

She was born on August 7, 1947, in St. Paul, MN, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Joyce (Carne) Lundwall. She attended the Stambaugh, MI Schools, graduating from Stambaugh High School with the class of 1965.

Janet married James “Jim” Tilkens on October 11, 1991, in Green Bay, WI. They celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary this year.

She was employed as the travel coordinator for Fort Howard Paper Company in Green Bay, WI, and was later employed as a pharmacy tech in Lakewood, WI, before retiring. Janet was a former member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Iron River, MI. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, and quilting.

Janet is survived by her husband, Jim; son, Steven Schive of Gresham, WI; brothers, Lloyd (Ellen) Lundwall of Silver Cliff, WI and George (Sandy) Lundwall of Stevensville, MT; sister-in-law, Sharon Lundwall of Fond du Lac, WI; nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, James Lundwall and her stepfather, George Davies.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Interment will be in Stambaugh Cemetery.
